About Me

I’m Claes Adamsson, an engineering leader with a background in DevOps, software delivery, and IT in retail. My roots are in XP and Lean Software Development, and those ideas still guide how I work today. Along the way I’ve also picked up inspiration from DDD, which keeps me focused on solving the right problems rather than just adding more technology.

Most of my work has been about helping teams get better at building and running software, whether that’s shaping architecture, improving ways of working, or creating tools that take some of the friction out of delivery. I like working at the point where technology, people, and business needs meet. Sometimes that means refining a DevOps capability model, sometimes it’s trying out new practices, and sometimes it’s releasing open-source tools like tbdflow.

Outside of coding and delivery metrics, I spend a lot of time coaching teams, working with strategies, and learning from the wider community. If you want to see what I’ve been building lately, my main projects are listed on this page, or visit my GitHub.
